Introduction

URIQA uses artificial intelligence to help users organize information, analyze documents and images, explore possible relationships, identify questions, and prepare drafts.

These capabilities can make complex projects easier to understand, but they do not replace human expertise. This Disclaimer explains the limits of URIQA's AI features and the responsibilities of users.

What URIQA AI can do

Depending on the feature and file type, URIQA AI may summarize project materials, extract information, analyze images and graphs, interpret spreadsheets, suggest findings, identify possible gaps, recommend Insight Map connections, help create plans, and prepare drafts.

These outputs are intended to support human work. They are not verified facts, final conclusions, professional opinions, or approvals.

Why human review matters

AI systems generate responses probabilistically. They can produce incorrect or fabricated information even when the language sounds detailed and confident.

URIQA AI may overlook relevant evidence, misunderstand technical context, confuse a note with a verified result, misattribute a statement, invent a citation, perform an incorrect calculation, or overstate confidence. You must compare important output with original sources and use independent professional judgment.

Document limitations

PDF and document analysis can be incomplete when a file contains scanned pages, handwriting, unusual fonts, mathematical notation, multi-column layouts, embedded images, damaged content, password protection, or poor optical character recognition.

URIQA may miss footnotes, equations, references, tables, figures, symbols, or sections. A document summary is not a substitute for reading the source.

Image, graph, and chart limitations

AI may misread axes, units, legends, colors, error bars, scales, labels, annotations, microstructural features, defects, fracture surfaces, or other visual evidence.

Do not treat an AI-estimated value as an actual measurement. If a label, scale, or value is not clearly readable, the AI may not be able to interpret it reliably.

Spreadsheet and data limitations

AI may misunderstand column meanings, units, identifiers, missing values, sheet relationships, or formatting. It may overlook rows, perform incorrect calculations, or infer a trend that is not statistically meaningful.

A spreadsheet summary is not a validated statistical analysis. Statistical significance, uncertainty, causation, model validity, and data quality must be assessed using appropriate methods and independently verified calculations.

Findings and Insight Maps

An AI-suggested finding is a hypothesis, interpretation, or organizational suggestion until a qualified user verifies it.

Likewise, an Insight Map relationship such as "supports," "contradicts," "explains," "depends on," or "needs evidence" does not establish that the relationship is scientifically or technically valid. AI-generated findings and relationships should remain marked as needing review until a user accepts them.

Research and discovery

URIQA is designed to help users identify possible patterns, gaps, relationships, contradictions, and next directions.

URIQA does not guarantee a discovery, invention, valid hypothesis, publishable result, successful experiment, patent, commercially useful outcome, or regulatory acceptance. The phrase "discovery" describes the goal of supporting human exploration. It does not mean that URIQA independently establishes scientific truth.

Professional and high-risk use

URIQA AI does not provide engineering, legal, medical, financial, regulatory, laboratory, certification, or other professional advice. It must not be the sole basis for decisions that carry material safety or regulatory consequences. Examples of uses where URIQA output must not be the controlling basis include:

  • design approval, product release, or airworthiness;
  • structural assessment or maintenance action;
  • medical care, diagnosis, or treatment decisions;
  • corrective-action closure or regulatory submission;
  • failure attribution or expert testimony;
  • other safety-critical or high-consequence decisions.

Users in aerospace, defense, automotive, medical-device, energy, chemical, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, forensic, and similar fields must apply the standards, testing, review, documentation, and approvals required by their profession and organization.

Third-party AI models

URIQA may use AI models made available through the Lovable AI Gateway or other providers. Relevant prompts and project content may be transmitted to those providers to perform a requested action. The provider and model may change depending on the feature, configuration, availability, quality, cost, and performance.

Do not assume that a provider offers zero retention, confidentiality, professional privilege, regional processing, or a non-training guarantee unless URIQA expressly confirms that protection in a separate written agreement.

Intellectual property and academic integrity

AI output may resemble existing content or output created for others. URIQA does not guarantee that output is unique, copyrightable, properly cited, noninfringing, publishable, or acceptable under an academic or employer policy.

You are responsible for plagiarism review, attribution, citation verification, authorship disclosure, permissions, and compliance with institutional and professional rules.

Your responsibility

You remain responsible for every decision, conclusion, report, publication, client deliverable, regulatory submission, and professional action made using URIQA. Before relying on an output, review the source materials, verify citations and calculations, examine assumptions, identify missing evidence, and obtain qualified approval where required.

Reporting a problem

To report a materially incorrect or potentially unsafe AI output, contact support@uriqa.ai with the subject "AI Output Report." Describe the affected feature and issue without sending regulated, confidential, or highly sensitive information through ordinary email.
